This is the first in what I hope will be many future posts about classical music. I will create a preview and a review of concerts to promote and either review or critique the performances we visit. I am developing a definite structure for this project, so the content is even and easily understood. When I get this structure set, then others will be able to help me cover more concerts.

If you have never been to the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, then you have missed something. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and you will have a great time! Get there early to park and walk around Nashville, have dinner, or just hang out in the Hall before the performance. The acoustics are wonderful, and the seating is comfortable.
This promises to be a great concert. You are hearing music of two of the pillars of classical music’s greatest composers, Beethoven and Mozart. In addition, you have a chance to hear an American composer’s work as well, with the Century Rolls piece for Piano and Orchestra.
I am looking forward to this concert and hope to see you there.
