2026 is here, and we want to get off to a good start. We will be previewing and reviewing three performances this month: Nashville Symphony’s first concert of the new year on the 9th, WKU Music Department’s “Prism Concert” on the 23rd, and rounding it out on the 24th with the Puccini tour de force “Girl of the Golden West”!

I woke up this morning thinking about Musiterania’s new direction of being primarily a “publication” where we concentrate on Classical and Operatic musicians. While these events are happening with companies or the university, the artists are independent, as they are on a quest to build their careers.
Bowling Green is pretty far from just about everywhere. I hope to widen the geographic scope as much as possible. Keeping an eye on upcoming performances locally, but also in Nashville, Louisville, Owensboro, Paducah, Cincinnati, Lexington, and Bloomington, will be a pretty good way to get moving.
I am excited about the possibilities.
